ABOUT GODDESSES IN THE GARDEN

Our Purpose

Goddesses in the Garden is an educational initiative dedicated to nurturing confident, caring girls through connection with nature, self-care, and ancestral plant wisdom.

We believe that when girls are given the opportunity to slow down, care for living things, and learn practical life skills, they grow not only knowledge—but confidence, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging.

What We Believe

Nature is one of our greatest teachers.

In the garden, girls learn patience by waiting for seeds to sprout.

They learn responsibility by tending plants through sun, rain, and change.

They learn care—by noticing what living things need to thrive.

These lessons extend far beyond the garden bed. They remind girls that they are capable, connected, and worthy of tending—both to themselves and to the world around them.

About the Founder

Goddesses in the Garden was founded by Robin Anderson, an educator, gardener, writer, and guide with a lifelong devotion to teaching through beauty, care, and connection.

Drawing from intergenerational wisdom, lived experience, and a deep relationship with the natural world, Robin creates spaces where learning feels grounded, gentle, and meaningful. Her work centers on helping girls build confidence, self-respect, and a sense of belonging—rooted in the rhythms of nature.
